What is Reiki all about?

You know Reiki already, because you use it already. Only you don't know.
When you hurt yourself or when you have stomach problems, you lay your hands on or rub the ailing area. And nobody tells you to do that, because it is a natural instinct. Because your are not really connected to the energy, its help a little bit. But Reiki can make it stronger and protect yourself to the sickness of the recipient.
Reiki helps to harmonize body, mind and spirit for yourself, your Family or anyone you want to help.

Experience

My own experience with Reiki is only about the feeling I had. Because the last 45 years I don't see a doctor. So when I do the Reiki 1 course in December 2006, I had the feeling that I must stop working. But then I have no income, so I don’t do it. In April 2007 I do the Reiki 2 course. The feeling of stop working get stronger and I had the feeling to go to Gambia. I never was in Gambia before.
My Reiki teacher tell me in the beginning of 2007, that she try to get a Reiki 1 Gambian (Sait Sengore) to Holland to teach him Reiki 3 (master) and ask me “if he is coming, can he stay with you?” Of course I say. That is the only connection a had with Gambia at that time.
I decide to ask to work half days in stead of full days. It was possible, so from that day I was working half days. In July 2007 I was on holiday with my children and there I get the feeling that I must go in November to Gambia. So when I was back, I ask my Reiki teacher “When is Sait coming to Holland.” She said: “I must ask again for a visa, and that takes again 3 months, so I decide that I go to Gambia.” I said “okay, then I go with you.” She was happy to hear that. So in August we go to Gambia. It was not a holiday for me, because we were sitting together with Sait two weeks in the hotel room to learn more about Reiki. But after this, I get still the feeling that I must go back to Gambia in November. I thought maybe for a month or something like that. But how closer we come to November, how more I get the feeling that it is longer then one month. So I decide to quit working, sell every thing in Holland and go to Gambia.
Just before I go to Gambia I become a Reiki Master.
It is feeling like it is my destiny to come to The Gambia to learn the people about the simple principles (every body knows it already) and to connect the people again to this energy.
So Reiki is for every body good and for every body different. Some people like me, get strong feelings or knowledge, other people see colors, heard a voice, see the energy’s or the aura’s of people. But even when you feel, see, heard or know nothing, it is good for your health.
